Fortaleza, Brazil

Capital of the state of Ceará, in the Northeast of the country, Fortaleza is the fifth largest city in Brazil. Located on the Atlantic coast, the city is only a few hours from Europe by plane. A great spot for kitesurfing enthusiasts, the beaches of Fortaleza continue to attract a great many visitors every year. Also known for its textile industry, the capital of Ceará is also the gateway to the main cities in North and North-East Brazil.

Joon, the Air France group’s new airline, will link as from May 3rd 2018 Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Fortaleza with 2 weekly flights operated by Airbus A340 with a capacity of 30 seats in the Business cabin, 21 seats in Premium Economy and 227 seats in Economy.

AF415: leaves Fortaleza at 19:35, arrives at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 9:30* the following day with connections to/from 9 german airports.

Mahé, Seychelles

Home to the largest share of the Seychelles population, Mahé offers wonderful beaches and seabed to ocean lovers, as well as beautiful hikes for those seeking wild life. Mahé counts over seventy sandy beaches, beautiful nature preserve and oddly shaped granite rock formations. It sums up the beauty of all the surrounding islands. After all, it's no wonder it used to be called "the island of plenty". It offers different types of accommodation, from bed and breakfast to upscale hotels, ultimately making the Seychelles a reasonable dream destination.

As of 5 May 2018, Air France will resume services to Mahé Seychelles operated by Joon on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday using an Airbus A340-300. Seattle, USA

As of 25th March 2018, Air France flies nonstop from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Seattle using a Boeing B777-200 with 280 seats up to 312 seats in Business, Premium Economy and Economy.AF 338 departs every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 13.30 in Paris-Charles de Gaulle and arrives at 2:20 pm in Seattle. The return is at 16.30 with arrival at 11.10 am in Paris- Charles de Gaulle. There are connections to 9 German airports.The new destination in the US will be complementary to the existing connections of the Joint venture partner Delta Air Lines


Taipei is the capital and largest city of Taiwan. This cosmopolitan city is the temple of high tech and electronics. It has approximately 2.7 million inhabitants.

Taipei offers tourists ecotourism, hot springs, culture and savage landscapes.

AIR FRANCE will start operating 3 weekly flights as of 16 April 2018 by Boeing 777-200 equipped with the latest AIR FRANCE long haul travel cabins. The flights will be an addition to the KLM daily flights by Boeing 777-200/300.


Catania is the second largest city of Sicily, located on the east coast facing the Ionian Sea, and one of the ten biggest cities in Italy. The population of Catania is approximately 313,000. Catania is the first economic and industrial hub of Sicily, known for it’s petrochemical industry and the extraction of sulphur. Tourism is a fast growing industry in Catania. Air France will begin operating 3 weekly flights as of 27 March 2018 by Airbus A319 and A320.


Nairobi is the capital and largest city of Kenya, and the tenth largest city in Africa. It is located in the south of the country and has a population of approximately 3.1 million. Main industries are tourism, agriculture, Several international companies have factories based in and around the city. Key attraction for tourists is the Nairobi National Park, the only game reserve of this nature to border a capital city. Nairobi is also called the ‘Safari Capital of the World’. AIR FRANCE will start flights to Nairobi as of 25 March 2018 using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner 3 x per week. These flights will be an addition to the daily operated flights by KLM Boeing 747.

Tropics have a name: the Maldives

Air France flies from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Malé from 01.11.2017 until 28.04.2018 on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Back on Thursdays and Sundays from Malé to Paris-Charles de Gaulle. It is connected to nine German airports.
